Biography

Her artistic training begins at a very young age as the daughter of a painter and gallery owner. From an early age, she had the privilege of meeting directly many, today venerated artists and intellectuals from the cultural scene of the late last century. She participates in art contests and wins youth painting awards, among others the National Award of the Savings Bank and Monte de Piedad.

Her path to formal training in art moves through La Palma School of Art and the School of Graphic Arts in Madrid, while concurrently training in martial arts, winning several national awards in Karate. She attends professional workshops by recognised masters such as Antonio Zarco in painting and Ángel Úbeda in photography.

Professionally, she worked for several years in graphic arts specialising in photocomposition and graphic design parallel to working as a martial arts instructor, until a serious illness cuts short her professional career, deflecting her artistic development for years, during which, due to her forceful nature, she continued to develop her painting skills, combining the formal training she had acquired during the formative period of her youth with self-taught practice. From then on, painting as a form of artistic expression as well as therapy begins to acquire a very decisive role in her life.

Once recovered, at the beginning of the year 2000, she continues to pursue and develop her skills with great passion in art workshops at the Royal College of Art in London. Later, she dedicates herself fully to professional painting, participating in national and international art fairs and showing her work in group and individual exhibitions, being selected for various painting awards, such as “The 10th National Painting Contest of La Rioja”.

She has exhibited her work nationally in Madrid, Malaga, Logroño, Marbella, Soria, San Sebastián, Cáceres, Badajoz and outside of Spain in Miami, Klagenfurt, Doha, Seoul, New York, Italy, Luxembourg and Paris.
